Cabinet Vision Includes LockDowel Fasteners In Software Version 8FREMONT, CA  -- LockDowel Corp., a leading innovator of hardware fasteners, today announced its new snap lock fasteners have been programmed into Cabinet Vision Ultimate Version 8.0. Cabinet Vision licensees will be able to choose any of LockDowel’s products and associated construction method from within Cabinet Vision and design cabinets or case good products using LockDowel’s new snap lock fastener system. With the support of VERO-Cabinet Vision and LockDowel’s in-house Cabinet Vision professional services staff, LockDowel is prepared to support current Cabinet Vision licensee’s transition to LockDowel, but transition capacity is limited and allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis to maximize success.

LockDowel fasteners are available in metal and plastic. All LockDowel products provide tool less assembly while providing stronger furniture joints, easy snap lock assembly, and the elimination of screws, glue, nails and cam locks. LockDowel fasteners have successfully reached pull strengths that range from 120 to more than 200 pounds and they eliminate the “clamping” manufacturing step. Lastly, installer, or end-user furniture assembly time and complexity in most all cases have been reduced by more than 80 percent.

“Cabinet Vision is always looking for great products that will positively impact our customers and make design and manufacturing cabinets and furniture more efficient and innovative,” said Don Bigelow of Cabinet Vision. “We believe LockDowel’s snap lock fastener technology is revolutionary and will be a tremendous benefit to Cabinet Vision customers.”

LockDowel hardware is pre-installed and gives installers the ability to quickly snap lock furniture with minimal need of instruction manuals and no requirement for tools. Once installed, LockDowel’s new fasteners contain the look and quality of a glued and screwed connection, having no visible hardware, no missing parts and strong, sturdy joints that don’t loosen over time.

“Cabinet Vision has a tremendously successful installed customer base that relies on the Cabinet Vision software to design, build and manufacture the products their customers sell. With 35,000 Cabinet Vision corporate licensees, LockDowel is delighted to associate itself with such a successful company, product and customer base,” said Fred Koelling, CEO of LockDowel. “Now that LockDowel products are programmed inside Cabinet Vision’s software, we are prepared to offer their customers everything they need to design and produce products using LockDowel products and construction methods from within their existing Cabinet Vision software.”
