Robot cabinetmaker has a name: he's Ernest Cabinet Maker
AutomaTech Robotik has launched an Industry 4.0-ready robotic solution, completely integrated for panel manufacturing. And it's name is Ernest.

Ernest Cabinet Maker makes Batch Size=1 production of cabinetry a reality, says the company. Based on an industrial KUKA robot, this system also represents an investment for the future that will remain technologically up-to-date, based on the adaptability of robots.

Thanks to the combination of robot algorithms, connectivity with IT systems, and a combination of industrial and robotic engineering, Ernest lets manufacturers optimize their workflow by eliminating buffers between workstations.

Automatech Robotik will be at Doucet Machineries Booth 6747 at IWF 2016

Automatech Robotik says Ernest Cabinet Maker can produce an average of 800 parts during an 8-hour shift with a single operator. Manufacturers can use Ernest Cabinet Maker to automate their existing equipment, thus reducing the capital investment required to automate their production.

The system was developed and integrated by Automatech Robotik, a robotic solution provider specializing in the woodworking industry. For almost 20 years the company says it has been developing, integrating and supporting innovative solutions for robotic panel handling, milling, painting and sanding.  AutomaTech Robotik has been helping SMEs with their robotic and automation projects, developing customized solutions that address their specific needs.
