HNI sells its Lamex office furniture business
HNI Corp. completed the sale of its China and Hong Kong-based Lamex office furniture business. The business was acquired by Kokuyo Co., Ltd. for $75 million, subject to standard post-closing adjustments. Kokuyo is a leading manufacturer and provider of office furniture in Japan and across Asia.

Attorney pleads guilty in multi-million dollar timber fraud scheme
Mississippi attorney Jon Darrell Seawright, 50, of Jackson, pled guilty to conspiracy to defraud investors in a multimillion-dollar timber investment scheme.
Seawright faces up to five years in prison, three years of supervised release and a fine of up to $250,000.
