C.R. Onsrud celebrates new fabrication center, tech expo event

TROUTMAN, N.C. - More than 140 woodworking professionals were on hand to mark the opening of C.R. Onsrud's new 55,000-square-foot fabrication center and kick off the technology provider's Expo2018 event. The technology expo took place Feb. 28 at the company's facility in Troutman, North Carolina. Highlights of the day-long event included machinery demonstrations, trends and information, networking opportunities and a tour of the company's entire campus, including the new fabrication center.

Court vacates Formaldehyde Rule extension date, seeks options

WASHINGTON - A ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Jeffrey White vacates the Formaldehyde Rule extension dates and puts in limbo manufacturers of composite panels and products, including cabinetry, furniture and retail fixtures. A temporary stay on the vacate order has been granted and parties have until 4 p.m. on March 9 to confer on an alternative compliance date, and submit either a joint proposed submission or simultaneous briefs.
