LED lighting, shelving and blind corner cabinet organizers were just a few of the new products Rev-A-Shelf unveiled at the 2014 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), which was co-located for the first time with the International Builders Show (IBS). Both events were held Feb 4-6, 2014 in Las Vegas.

According to Sherri McPeek, marketing manager, Rev-A-Shelf’s booth featured a number of prototypes from a new dual pullout cabinet organizer to a tilt-out knife accessory. However, in its 2014 Prototype Showdown, it was the OXO Container Organizer that was a hit with attendee, winning the challenge hands down. The system comes with seven Oxo storage containers, and the shelving surfaces have been customized to fit the containers, ensuring they will not tip when the cabinet unit is opened and closed.

Additional hot new products displayed at the show include The Cloud blind corner cabinet organizer available in single or double tiers. The single tier Model 5371 fits left or right cabinets, floats on a bottom-mount smooth glide track system, and comes in four sizes to fit 14-3/16 in., 16 in., 17-7/8 in. and 21-3/8 in. cabinet openings.

The double tier Model 5372 pivots and slides on a mounted telescopic post system. It is available for left and right handed cabinets and has three sizes to accommodate 16-3/4 in., 18 in. and 21-3/4 in. cabinet openings.

Both models feature chrome accents and a choice of gray or maple shelf surfaces.

Also popular was the Lazy Susan LED light kit from Tresco. It is designed to light up corner or base cabinets with everything included in one kit. Essentials include: 23-in. angled Elli LED linear light, door sensor, plug-in 6W power supply with easy snap block and wire management clips.

Rev-A-Shelf’s Universal Pull Down 5UPD Series was also shown. McPeek says it was one of the most talked about items. While initially designed to meet the growing demand for medical storage solutions in the kitchen, the new Universal Pull Down system is readily adaptable for the storage of pet supplies, baby necessities, craft items and more. It is available for 24-in. wall cabinets, and features removable storage bins with drop-in dividers, anti-skid lined drawers and it has two-way dampening soft close.

Another highlight was Rev-A-Shelf’s Cookware Organizer, which allows creation of customized space for pots, pans and lids.
