Adornus Cabinetry liquidating 350,000-sq.-ft. facility and equipment
In 2019, when Adornus Cabinetry inaugurated its 349,000-square-foot manufacturing location and corporate headquarters in Lancaster County, South Carolina, the news was met with great fan fare. In 2026, the plant is being sold off piece by piece, building and all.

Louisiana sawmill invests $21M to rebuild after 2025 fire, creating 77 new jobs
C&C Forest Products announced it is investing over $21 million to rebuild its Coushatta sawmill following a 2025 fire, repositioning the facility as a more efficient, cost-competitive specialty lumber and timber operation. The company is expected to create 77 direct new jobs with an average annual salary of $65,260, which is 34% above the average Red River Parish wage, while retaining 27 current positions.
