With the addition of 3 new sales agencies and a total of twelve new sales managers or manufacturers’ representatives, General International continues with their ongoing expansion plans that now provide the company with an unprecedented level of coast to coast representation.
Mike Box has been appointed Territory Manager for Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
Mike Doremus will manage a territory that will include North and South Dakota as well as Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.
Norman Penfield and his team at Ole Pro Sales Agency will be calling on distributors in the southwest including Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia as well as North and South Carolina.
Led by Jeff Swinehart, Total Distribution Sales Consultants have been assigned to cover the northeast including New York, New Jersey, Virginia and West Virginia, Maryland and D.C., Delaware, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire.
Peter Kennedy, regional sales manager for Eastern North America will oversee the new sales staff. Long-time representatives Marc Berner of Marsco Marketing and
Terri Pucik and her team at S & S Industrial Marketing will continue to manage the western portion of the country under the supervision of Western North American sales manager David Carchesio.
The net result of these changes is an additional 200+ years of sales experience added to the General International roster and after the addition in 2010 of their new U.S. distribution center in Murfreesboro, TN these latest moves further the companies’ goal to provide easier access to their products with a more complete representation of the line for distributors and customers everywhere in the U.S.
Former Steel City president Scott Box will continue to oversee U.S. operations in Murfreesboro.
