La-Z-Boy Names Collier & Edwards as Executive Officers

MONROE, MI - La-Z-Boy Incorporated (NYSE: LZB) today announced the appointments of two executive officers. Doug Collier has been named Senior Vice President of La-Z-Boy Incorporated, Chief Marketing Officer and President, International, and Darrell Edwards has been named Senior Vice President of La-Z-Boy Incorporated and Chief Supply Chain Officer. Previously, Edwards was Senior Vice President, Operations for the La-Z-Boy branded business.

Collier rejoined La-Z-Boy Incorporated in June 2007 after two years with Select Comfort as Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President, Marketing. Prior to Select Comfort, Collier held various leadership positions at La-Z-Boy from 2002 through 2005, including Vice President, Marketing and Furniture Galleries Development.

Edwards joined La-Z-Boy Incorporated in 2004 as General Manager of the company's Newton, Mississippi plant and held various positions of increasing responsibility, including Vice President of Manufacturing, before being named Senior Vice President of Operations for the La-Z-Boy branded business.

Kurt L. As we move forward, a greater emphasis will be placed on international opportunities. Additionally, Doug's expertise in developing multi-faceted marketing programs, including digital solutions to respond to the dynamic environment in which the consumer operates, will prove to be invaluable."

Darrow continued, "Darrell is a seasoned executive with an unparalleled skill set in manufacturing operations. He successfully led the conversion of our La-Z-Boy branded facilities to the cellular method of production and his expertise extends to distribution, lean engineering, supply chain and research and development. In his new role, Darrell will be responsible for the corporation's entire supply chain, while also having responsibility for all La-Z-Boy branded manufacturing operations, our Regional Distribution Centers, and our Research and Development initiatives."
