OAK BROOK, IL – Elkay Manufacturing Company, a 92 year-old, privately-held American building products company recently received the Bath & Kitchen Buying Group [aka BKBG] Vendor of the Year award, presented by the group on September 5, in Chicago.
Elkay Cabinet Group is the fifth recipient of this award, presented by the BKBG annually. According to an association spokesman, the BKBG uses nine different criteria in the selection process; the selection committee then narrows the list to three finalists, and a majority vote determines the single winner
“The Vendor of the Year award is the highest honor that we as an organization give to a preferred vendor,” according to Eddie Schukar, executive director and vice president of vendor relations for BKBG.
