Hermance Machine to host 2010 Summer Exposition
WILLIAMSPORT, PA — Hermance Machine Co., a provider of industrial woodworking equipment, is celebrating its 108th year in business by hosting an interactive and educational machinery exposition June 23-24 at its 80,000-square-foot remodeled facility in Williamsport, PA.

A new format will be employed that includes hands-on education for setup and maintenance of a variety of different machinery and processes including edgebander setup and maintenance, moulder setup and knife grinding, CNC fixturing and setup, bore and dowel construction, optimizing saw systems, lean manufacturing, material handling/ labor reduction techniques and many others, as well as individualized direction for machinery selection and proper configurations.

There will be approximately 15 focused courses/seminars scheduled throughout each day that could be beneficial to business owners, plant and production managers, as well as maintenance personnel and machinery operators, the company says. Manufacturer’s representatives will be there for the hands-on application forums and to address individual projects as well. Select end users will also be showcasing their experiences and capabilities as well as offering creative input to the showcases. There will be sale pricing on all equipment, new and used, only available at the Expo.
