WMS 2025 preview videos: Blum hardware solutions

TORONTO — Blum will showcase its latest cabinet and furniture hardware systems at the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo, November 12-14 at the Toronto Congress Centre.

Here’s a look at some of the key products Blum will highlight at the show.

Blum's AVENTOS HKi is a cabinet fitting solution that embodies the pinnacle of integrated design. The entire lift mechanism is concealed within the cabinet side, allowing designers complete freedom to focus on aesthetics without compromising on functionality.

Designed for cabinet sides as thin as 16 mm, AVENTOS HKi fits seamlessly into standard and custom-sized cabinets, accommodating heights up to 600 mm and widths up to 1800 mm. Blum has integrated its TIP-ON mechanical opening and BLUMOTION soft closing technologies into AVENTOS HKi, ensuring effortless operation and enhanced user convenience. (Watch video above.)

Blum AVENTOS Top

Blum's AVENTOS top lift systems offer cabinet makers advanced solutions for versatile and efficient design in modern living spaces. This updated version of the original AVENTOS systems introduces significant improvements that enhance both functionality and user experience.

Key updates include symmetrical and fewer lever arms, which simplify design and streamline assembly. The AVENTOS HS top version eliminates the need for a cross-stabilization bar, enhancing aesthetic appeal and reducing complexity. In contrast, the AVENTOS HF top has an integrated opening angle restriction, preventing the front from hitting low ceilings.

Optimizing installation and user convenience, the lift systems feature integrated BLUMOTION adjustment and fewer lift mechanism types, providing efficient operation and reduced inventory needs. The mechanism allows adjustment from the front, even with pre-mounted screws and a fixed position for the lift mechanism, ensuring precise positioning without extensive calculations. (Watch video.)

Blum REVEGO pocket door hardware

Blum’s award-winning REVEGO pocket door system makes it possible to create stunning interiors by integrating living areas seamlessly and efficiently. It's engineered to cater to both single and double door applications, with fully integrated technology that allows the full overlay fronts to disappear into a dedicated narrow cabinet, known as the pocket.

New enhancements make REVEGO suitable for front heights ranging from 1,130 mm to 2,980 mm. This flexibility ensures that there's a REVEGO solution suited to a range of cabinetry projects. Moreover, with a thickness of up to 26 mm and a weight capacity of up to 35 kg per door, Blum says REVEGO allows manufacturers to craft robust yet elegant spaces.

REVEGO brings TIP-ON motion technology into its design, allowing fronts to open with a single touch, and close softly and effortlessly. (Watch video.)

Blum ECODRILL

Blum's newly optimized ECODRILL assembly device offers enhanced efficiency and ease when assembling hinges and lift systems. This latest iteration introduces several features designed to streamline workflow and enhance precision.

One of the key features is the one-handed clamping system, allowing the user to quickly secure the ECODRILL in place with a single lever, saving time and effort. The integrated extraction socket supports hoses with diameters between 32–42 mm, significantly reducing dust exposure during drilling tasks.

The ECODRILL also incorporates an integrated angle template, ensuring consistent marking for hinge mounting plates and adapter plates for TIP-ON and BLUMOTION assemblies. This promotes uniform accuracy when fitting hinges and lift systems. Additionally, the side stops come with a measuring scale from 80–130 mm, allowing for quick adjustments of standard distances without repeated measurements, yet retaining the flexibility to work with marking lines where necessary.

Designed for mobility and convenience, the ECODRILL is suitable for both workshop and construction site use, operable with a hand drill or cordless screwdriver.
