WMS preview videos: Richelieu automated closet and kitchen devices

TORONTO — Richelieu, a leading distributor of specialty hardware and innovative solutions, will highlight its new exclusive North American distribution agreement with Granberg Products at the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo.

At WMS, November 12-14 at the Toronto Congress Centre, Richelieu will unveil four products manufactured by the European manufacturer that balance accessibility, design, and functionality.

The new products include:

At the touch of a button of the Butler 732 electric wardrobe lift, the clothes rail smoothly lowers by up to 112 cm, making it effortless to access garments stored at higher levels. The rail can be mounted as high as 300 cm from the floor — unlocking the full vertical potential of a closet space. The area beneath the rail remains free for an additional hanging rod or other storage solutions.

Richelieu Grandberg Butler 732
The Butler 732's rail can be mounted as high as 300 cm from the floor.

Engineered with wheelchair users in mind, the Butler 730 replaces traditional fixed rails with a motorized system that lowers the clothes rail forward and downward — bringing garments within easy reach at the push of a button. This dual-motion design not only enhances accessibility from a seated position but also frees up valuable space in the lower section of the closet. That space can be optimized with wire baskets, shelves, or an additional rail maximizing the full height of the storage area.

Richelieu Grandberg Products Verti 840
Compact and versatile, the Verti 840 fits seamlessly into both new and existing wall cabinets without requiring additional depth or protrusion.

The Verti 840 is an electric height-adjustable lifting system designed to transform upper cabinet accessibility. With a smooth and silent motion, the Verti 840 lowers cabinet shelves down to the worktop — making contents easily reachable without the need to open cabinet doors. When lowered, the system leaves free space on the worktop in front of the shelves, allowing for convenient access and flexible use of the workspace. The lift can be stopped at any height, offering personalized control and comfort.

Compact and versatile, the Verti 840 fits seamlessly into both new and existing wall cabinets without requiring additional depth or protrusion. It is compatible with cabinets 27.6” (70 cm) high or taller and is available in two depths and a wide range of widths from 15.7” to 39.4” (40–100 cm) to suit various kitchen configurations.

The Verti 840 is equipped with a safety system to ensure safe operation with no risk of pinching. Optional lighting and a light ramp can be mounted on the underside of the lift, enhancing visibility and functionality. The system is designed for integration into kitchens from any manufacturer, offering a universal solution for modern, accessible design.

The Baselift 6600 is an electrically height-adjustable lift system designed to enhance comfort, accessibility, and design flexibility in modern kitchens. Engineered to support both standing and seated users, the Baselift 6600 is ideal for environments where ergonomic adaptability is essential. Smooth, silent operation is powered by quiet running electric motors that allow users to seamlessly adjust preferred worksurface heights.

With a lifting capacity of up to 160 kg, the system accommodates heavy countertops, including those made of stone or composite materials. The Baselift 6600 is available in three standard frame lengths:

  • 890 mm – ideal for a single cooktop, sink, or work surface
  • 1,590 mm – perfect for a cooktop or sink with adjacent landing space
  • 2,390 mm – accommodates both cooktop and sink within the same unit
