Canadian Businesses Lag on Website Adoption

Fifty-nine percent of Canadian very small businesses don't have a website; 41 percent believe they are simply too small to have one. But that could be limiting their sales opportunities, including export. "My website is like a front door to my business - which consists of one employee: Me," says Martin Byers, owner of handcrafted furniture company ThankU.ca, based in Victoria, B.C.

Germany's PYTHA Lab will make the North American debut of its PYTHA 3D CAD software at the Toronto Wood Machinery & Supply Expo, November 5-7 at the International Centre. Described as a "powerful, intuitive software," the range of applications includes high end bedrooms, wardrobes and closets, or luxury-level kitchens. Technology Continues to Transform Wood Manufacturing

I am still trying to wrap my head around the innovations and new products introduced at interzum and LIGNA in May. It was impressive and to say that I can recall everything I’ve seen there without my notes would be a lie. All the more reason then to look forward to the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference and Expo (WMS) 2015 in Toronto this November.
