More than 100 woodworkers attended the two-day seminar June 9-10, learning from experts about best practices and manufacturing trends and seeing demonstrations on the latest technologies in panel processing and solid wood manufacturing. The information provided was meant to set attendees up for success at the upcoming IWF.

High-tech work cells aid K&Z Cabinet in plant production

ONTARIO, Calif. - One of southern California's largest casework manufacturers, K&Z Cabinet Company uses high technology with a touch of custom woodwork in its cellular production approach to high-end architectural casegoods and millwork. The company has over 85 employees produces 60 to 80 cabinets daily. During a Stiles Machinery sponsored shop tour, part of the 2016 Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo, held March 22-24 in Pasadena, California, Mike Twyford, vice president, gave more than 70 show attendees an inside look of the plant.
