Homag won a XIA Innovation Award at this month's Milan festival, for The Autonomous Cell, the first woodshop to operate completely autonomously.

Woodworking machinery giant Homag has teamed with Kuka, a German manufacturer of industrial robots, in an effort to expand the presence of advanced robotics in the woodworking industry.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Stiles Machinery has announced the next generation of machine design and digital innovation from Homag. This new identity will include a modern machine design across all new Homag products, as well as new, consistent product names designed to help customers identify the right machine for their needs. Homag is revealing their new brand identity at the Holz-Handwerk fair in Nuremberg, Germany.

Innovative woodworking technology, including beta designs, is on display this week in Hannover Germany, for Ligna 2017, the world's largest woodworking trade show.

DETROIT – Executives of Stiles Machinery, Inc., commented on the rebranding of equipment carried by Homag Group at a meeting just after the recent Executive Briefing Conference. Christian Vollmers, president of Stiles, said that Homag’s rebranding represented a new approach that would be shown at Ligna. The new approach will be that Homag offers a “world of solutions.”

Stiles has announced that Brandt, Butfering, Friz, Holzma, Homag Automation, and Weeke brands will come together under the Homag name.
