Carpenters return with Ellen for an armoirier HGTV Design Challenge,

Ellen Degeneres' Design Challenge show, in which furniture creators get an assist from carpenters to build new furniture designs, will return for a second season. The reality program hit a bump first season when the winning entry, a desk by woodworker Tim McClellan of Western Heritage Furniture, was withdrawn following charges its design was copied.

Welborn Woodworking Twins Face Off on HGTV

Jeld-Wen is following an increasingly well-trod path by large scale cabinetry, furniture, and other wood products makers seeking to raise brand awareness among consumers.

HGTV's Dream Home 2015 grand prize, a house on Martha's Vineyard furnished by Cabinets to Go, Ethan Allen, Lumber Liquidators, and finished by Sherwin Williams, was given to Katherine O’Dell, of Huntsville, AL, a former math teacher and computer programmer.
