Pierre de Villeméjane has been appointed president and CEO of Heritage Home Group LLC. De Villeméjane has served on the board of directors since the home furnishings company was created in November 2013 following the demise of Furniture Brands International.

United Furniture Industries will take over the former Lane Furniture Industries plant in Verona, MS, spending $1.45 million for the 475,000-square-foot facility.

Heritage Home Group made official its choice of High Point, NC, for its new corporate headquarters. The re-formed Furniture Brands International said the move will add approximately 300 jobs to the local economy.
