Safety Speed promotes American-made machines, sales & service

Along with its larger, industrial pocket screw machines, Safety Speed Mfg. had planned to exhibit at IWF its newest screw pocket machine, the SPM101EZ, which creates a pocket with a 6-degree pilot hole in 1 or 2 seconds depending on the material being processed, said Brian Donahue, president.  The cancellation of the biennial show due to COVID-19 changed that.

Con-Vey launches robotics & automation company

ROSEBURG, Ore. – 7robotics is a new robotics and automation company launched by Con-Vey Holdings. Based in Roseburg, Oregon, 7robotics was started by the team at Con-Vey, a subsidiary of Con-Vey Holdings. “Con-Vey is known in the wood products industry as a high-quality material handling equipment supplier, but not known much outside that industry. We wanted to expand into new markets and felt that transition needed a new name,” said Dave Larecy, CEO of Con-Vey Holdings.
