“Obviously, the cancellation of the trade show was a big disappointment,” said Don Kuser of North American Plywood Corp. “We will continue with our advertising, direct marketing and increased social media connections. Reaching out to potential clients in today’s environment requires laser precision marketing. The days of shotgun blast marketing are over. We need to drill down not only to the correct company, but target the correct person within. Not only do we offer a specialized product line, we offer vertical integration manufacturing so the products get to the endpoint as needed, on time, and at the lowest cost available.

Kuser said that North American Plywood will continue to post their new products on social media to create interest and hopefully demand.  Naply just installed new drawer side machinery to increase their output of high- quality prefinished drawer blanks. They are also providing a UV cured finish with a UV cured edge coat.

Also, Kuser said that with the current health issues facing the world, Naply is starting to switch over to antimicrobial coatings on all of their finishing and printing.

“Adding antimicrobial to our finishes should aid in keeping wood products not only aesthetically appealing but also safer,” he said. “With our digital printing/staining we can make panels and parts that will set our customers in a position to offer real wood, high quality products at a responsible, sustainable, and economical advantage.”
