GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Stiles Machinery says it plans to offer a look at some of its high tech panel dividing solutions for manufacturers of all sizes at this year’s International Woodworking Fair (IWF) in Atlanta, August 22-25, 2018.

Featured in Stiles’ booth will be brand new modern machine designs and digital solutions from Homag. This will be the first time Homag’s newly designed machines will be available to the North American market since their recent launch at the Holz-Handwerk woodworking fair in Nuremberg, Germany.

TECHNOLOGY

Robotic saw" for batch size one

Revolutionary saw speeds short-run and batch-one cutting, says Premier EuroCase.

Included in this new line of technology from Homag, is the revolutionary Sawteq B-320 flexTec robotic panel saw. The Sawteq B-320 flexTec, provided exclusively by Stiles Machinery, is designed for rapid single panel processing with unlimited recuts and flexible cutting patterns.

Its innovative design completely redefines the flow of parts in batch-size one production and dramatically increases material yield with leading-edge robotic handling technology. The system was recently adopted by a high-profile user, component and panel manufacturer Premier Eurocase of Denver.

Now with fully automatic de-stacking capabilities enabling long periods of unmanned operation, the Sawteq B-320 is designed for highly-efficient individual cutting on a large scale. Also featured in Stiles’ booth, the newly designed Sawteq  B-300 from HOMAG, offers powerful performance in
a compact space. Featuring module45 technology, the Sawteq B-300 provides accurate rip, cross and bevel cuts in a single machine.

intelliGuide Professional
The Sawteq B-300 will also feature the latest innovation in operator assistance, the intelliGuide Professional . The intelliGuide Professional supports the saw operator by responding to their movements in real time, visually guiding them through the use of an LED light strip and laser technology that is projected directly onto the workpieces during operation.

If the operator makes a mistake, the intelliGuide Professional system prompts the operator with a visual cue and reorders the program to ensure parts are processed correctly. It won the title of the Most Important Ligna Innovation of 2017 at this year’s Ligna Innovations Symposium in Hannover, Germany.
