Lignomat's all-in-one moisture meter, the Ligno-VersaTec, can be used as a pin or pinless moisture meter to measure moisture in lumber, engineered panels, and fiberboards. Measurements up to 2 in. deep are possible with a slide-hammer electrode, and a RH BLuePeg probe added to the moisture meter allows for measuring relative humidity and temperature. By scanning for 3D shape and depth, the sensor can detect missing parts, holes, wane, and other types of defects in material regardless of color to improve inspection and cutting processes. nDepth technology connects directly to most existing systems and PLCs.

ShopBot's Buddy is designed for cutting in wood, plastics, and aluminum. The company says the Buddy incorporates many of the same features as ShopBot’s full-size industrial systems, yet weighs less than 600 lbs. and occupies as little as 16 sq. ft. of floor space.
