Ponderosa pine lumber

Northwest Hardwoods says it uses a unique grading and drying process on Ponderosa pine to create lumber products tailored for appearance applications. NWH is isolating and consolidating Ponderosa pine boards based on their defect structure to make it easier for customers to achieve the look they want, whether larger, tight knots with a bold look to smaller, scattered knots that offer a more subtle look. The company's conservative drying schedule also helps keep the lumber straight and flat, and NWH adds it has the capability to dry lumber to a lower moisture content to meet customer specifications.
