Stuck on a bench top glue up

Hi! I am attempting to build a workbench as my first woodworking project which has been a pretty difficult experience. I glued up separate segments (2x6s run through a planer). I lined the segments up, and realized that the side faces are not straight enough for a good glue up, and clamping pressure will not be as helpful here. I need to somehow flatten these very well, but am not super sure how to do it. I have a jointer, but it is 6", and these are 8 ft long and heavy.

Lumber company illegally imported logs, violates mountain pine beetle rules

Breaking the rules put in place to protect Saskatchewan forests can have consequences, as a Saskatchewan company found out.Landrider Trux Ltd., a Maple Creek firewood, logging and sawmilling operation, was fined just over $9,700 earlier this year after illegally importing pine logs from Alberta. Bringing pine logs with bark attached into Saskatchewan from jurisdictions with established mountain pine beetle populations is prohibited. The movement of wood with bark is one of the main ways that forest pests, including mountain pine beetle, are spread.
