Gender pay gap reportedly high in labor market

WASHINGTON - The Institute for Women's Policy Research says that the gender pay gap in the U.S. is greater than what was previously assumed. They say women working in the U.S. labor market make 51 percent less than their male counterparts from 2001 to 2015.
 
Their data indicates that between 1968 and 1982, the average labor salary for men was $51,575 and women's was $14,379.

WCMA slates new board

LINDSTROM, Minn. - New members of the Wood Component Manufacturers Association's Board of Directors were recently elected at the group's annual board meeting held Oct, 8 in Wausau, Wisconsin.
