WPE Lancaster preview videos: Castaly Machinery

MANHEIM, Pa. — Castaly Machinery will emphasize its wide and diverse range of machinery at Wood Pro Expo Lancaster, October 23-24 at Spooky Nook Sports.

Among the machines that attendees can learn more about include the following.

The Nanxing NB6J is a heavy-duty, fully automated edgebander that integrates multiple processes into one streamlined operation. The machine features pre-milling, pre-heating, gluing, snipping, end trimming, rough and fine trimming, scraping, and buffing. The machine offers a feed speed of up to 24 m/minute and handles edge tape thickness from 0.4–3 mm and panel thickness from 9–60 mm.

WP-20L-V4 4-Side Planer/Moulder is equipped with an HMI touchscreen with digital positioning for width, thickness and variable feed speed adjustments.

The Castaly WP-20L-V4 4-Side Planer/Moulder is ideal for furniture, cabinet, flooring, and millwork applications. Designed for S2S and S4S surfacing, tongue & groove flooring, and wall paneling, this machine delivers smooth finishes and high efficiency at feed speeds up to 65 fpm. It is equipped with an HMI touchscreen with digital positioning for width, thickness, and variable feed speed adjustment. The machine can handle material widths from ¾ in. to 20 inches and thicknesses up to 8 inches. Watch video.

The Nanxing ND512D CNC drilling center is designed for precision machining on all six sides of a panel in a single setup. Engineered for cabinet, closet, and furniture manufacturing, it reduces handling and maximizes throughput. The drilling center is equipped with dual upper spindles and one lower spindle, plus 15 vertical drills and horizontal drills in X and Y directions, ensuring complete machining in one pass. It is capable of handling panel thicknesses from 10–60 mm and dimensions up to full-sized furniture components. The ND512D is compatible with intelligent manufacturing lines, integrating seamlessly with upstream and downstream equipment. (See video below.)

Castaly Stake Point Arrow Cutting Machine
The Stake Pointer - Arrow Cutting Machine can process stakes from 2 in.× 2 in. up to 3 in. × in., and lengths from 13-3/4 in. to 37.5 in. 

The Castaly Stake Pointer – Arrow End Cutting Machine is designed for fast and accurate production of stakes with arrow-shaped ends. It features fully automatic feeding, cutting, and outfeed cycles, boosting productivity and reducing manual labor. Its magazine loading system allows quick lumber stacking and easy setup for continuous operation. The machine can process stakes from 2 in.× 2 in. up to 3 in. × in., and lengths from 13-3/4 in. to 37.5 in. Arrow angles are adjustable from 50 in. to 70 in. for varied applications.
