Stanley Furniture launches centennial comeback collection

"Some things are worth revisiting, said Chris Beselin, chairman, Stanley Furniture, "Not to change them, but to refine them."

Beselin is a partner in Endurance Capital, the investment firm that acquired the brand. The company acquired the assets of Stanley Furniture through a series of financial transactions. The group launched its first new collection online in celebration of its 100-year lifespan.

Stanley Furniture is headquartered in High Point, North Carolina, though it originated in Stanleytown, Virginia, and now manufactures primarily in Vietnam. "Founded in 1924," said Beselin in an email letter, "Stanley Furniture has spent the last 100 years crafting pieces that become part of people’s lives. Today, as we celebrate our centennial anniversary, we proudly reintroduce Stanley Furniture with a renewed collection one that honors a century of heritage while embracing the homes of today."

This relaunch is not a reinvention, he added, but a reaffirmation.

Every piece reflects the values that have guided Stanley for a hundred years: integrity of materials, quiet confidence in design, and furniture made to be lived with not replaced. Rooted in American craftsmanship and shaped by generations of makers, this collection carries forward the standards established in our earliest workshops.

This revival was created for those who understand that true quality reveals itself over time in the patina of wood, in the way a drawer closes, in the comfort that remains year after year.

"As we mark 100 years of Stanley, we invite you to explore the Relaunch Collection and be part of the next chapter of our story, one written not in trends, but in homes like yours."

As Stanley Furniture marks its 100th anniversary, it stands on the cusp of a new era, poised for relaunch under new Scandinavian ownership. This milestone is not just a celebration of a century of furniture making but a tribute to the enduring spirit of a community and a family that has grown, adapted, and thrived through the ups and downs of a century. Stanley

Furniture's legacy is a testament to the vision of its founder, the dedication of its employees, and the loyalty of its customers. As we look to the future, we carry forward the values of craftsmanship, innovation, and community that have been the bedrock of Stanley Furniture for a hundred years, ready to write the next chapter in this remarkable American story.
