Sauder Woodworking is looking ahead to "exciting growth opportunties" and to facilitate their plans they have obtained a $120 million 3-year Senior Secured Credit Facility from White Oak Commercial Finance, LLC, an affiliate of White Oak Global Advisors.

The credit facility consists of a $120 million asset-based revolving line of credit funded by White Oak Commercial Finance. The borrowing base is supported by US and Canadian loan parties, and includes advances on eligible A/R, Inventory, M&E, and Real Estate. The proceeds were used to support the company’s refinancing of its existing bank debt and support working capital growth.

"This new credit facility provides our business increased financial flexibility and capital to take advantage of our exciting growth opportunities," said Kevin Sauder, president and CEO of Sauder Woodworking. "With White Oak’s financing support, we are well positioned to execute our strategic plan and continue to build upon the legacy of our 90-year plus operating history White Oak has been a collaborative partner throughout the financing process, and we appreciate their strong vote of confidence and support."

Kevin Cox, head of capital markets at White Oak Commercial Finance, added, "White Oak's ability to deliver creative solutions to maximize borrowing capacity, especially for a family-owned middle-market company with such a storied history, proved to be a perfect fit for this financing opportunity."

Sauder, the RTA giant, recently expanded its business horizons by starting a new business to sell wood components directly to other furniture manufacturers. The initiative, Sauder Supply, "marks a new era" for the FDMC300 ranked company said Jonathan Zublena, executive vice president of Sauder Building Products.

"Sauder Supply represents a significant step forward for our company and also is a nod to our past,” said “Many of the machine and process innovations we still use in our production today were developed to service B2B customers that were part of our portfolio in the 1960s and 70s."

“Returning a portion of our business to OEM supply allows Sauder to leverage our true expertise, designing efficient and creative manufacturing solutions to deliver quality and value to our customers,” he continued.

The product range at Sauder Supply is designed to meet a variety of manufacturing needs, Sauder says, offering open line products such as drawer components, cabinet doors, shelves, panels, closet parts and laminate sheet stock, he said.
