JAMESVILLE, N.Y. — B&B Lumber, a custom pallet manufacturer for more than 50 years, was reported to be up in flames at 7:30 p.m. on  February 24. Firefighters from Jamesville and surrounding towns battled the flames for more than four hours. The blaze was under control and put out a few minutes past midnight with crews staying until 1 a.m. to ensure the fire could not reignite. 

 A similar fire broke out at the lumber company in March 2016. 

"While we did lose a storage building and some of our pallet inventory, our sawmill and most of our pallet assembly remain intact," stated a company representative on Facebook. "We expect to be fully operational by Thursday, February 26." 

B&B Lumber has also reported that no one was injured. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
