RICHMOND, IN — MasterBrand Cabinets Inc. will eliminate its entire third-shift operations effective Sept. 14, according to Indystar.com. Fifty-six employees at the Richmond plant were notified last week of the company’s plans. This move comes after the company released 76 employees less than a year ago. The company’s other 30-plus manufacturing and distribution plants across North America could also face layoffs, which the company said would be due to “industry dynamics.” Read more.
