GRAND RAPIDS, MI – KVO Cabinets, a 40 employee kitchen cabinetry shop in Ammon, ID, has purchased a new Weeke Vantech CNC nesting router. The techology addition signals two benchmarks: increased automation for KVO's kitchen cabinet plant, and the 500th Weeke Vantech produced by Weeke North America for Stiles Machinery.

KVO Cabinets president Kent Van Orden decided to add the Weeke CNC soon after seeing it in action during a lean manufacturing plant visit on Stiles Machinery’s European Benchmarking Tech Tour in September 2014.

Van Orden marked the occasion by touring Stiles' the Grand Rapids facility, to see his new machine being readied.

Weeke North America began manufacturing Vantech CNC machines in 2010. The factory currently produces two Weeke machinery lines including the Vantech CNC nested-base routers and the ABD CNC drilling and dowel machines.

WNA employs 25 and the factory is currently slated to build 250 machines this year. In an effort to keep up with production, expansion plans are currently under way. Weeke announced last month it will complete a new 100,000 square foot facility later this year.
