CHICAGO -- The 2012 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) will happen in April instead of May to avoid conflicting with the G8 economic and NATO summits coming to Chicago in May.
KBIS has been rescheduled for April 24-26 at McCormick Place. The annual National Kitchen & Bath Associaition Conference will begin on April 23.
The NKBA, which owns the show, said the date changes will have no impact on hotel rates or availability. Show organizers also do not expect the new dates to negatively impact the number of exhibitors or attendees.
HGTV personality Candice Olson will deliver the show's opening keynote speach.
