POTOMAC FALLS, VA --The Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) and its insurance safety partner, CNA, recently honored 45 member companies in its annual safety awards program, launched several years ago by AWI’s Insurance Safety/Loss Control Committee. Four companies received the Best Safety Achievement Award for having the lowest incident rates of reportable injuries with the highest number of work hours for the previous year in their business size category:

B & H Millwork & Fixtures Inc., High Point, NC

Gaithersburg Cabinetry & Millwork Co., Warrenton, VA

Pearson Millwork, Arlington, WA

Thirty-six members earned the Zero Lost Time Accident Achievement Award for zero lost time in the previous year and 27 were given a Safety Improvement Certificate of Recognition for reductions in their incident rate from the previous year. For more information about AWI, visit www.awinet.org.
