WASHINGTON -- The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) announced that Ben Bell and Paul Poe have each been named director of AF&PA Government Affairs.
Bell and Poe will be responsible for promoting AF&PA’s policy positions on Capitol Hill and in state legislatures respectively.
Bell comes to AF&PA with significant legislative branch and trade association experience. He was most recently senior legislative assistant for Rep. Bob Etheridge (D-NC) and previously served as a Legislative Aide for Rep. Sanford Bishop (D-GA).
Poe is an attorney who has focused on government affairs, environmental and corporate law. Before joining AF&PA, he had opened his own law practice.
