Austrian fittings manufacturer Blum presented Movento for the first time to international experts at interzum 2011. The new concealed runner system forms an independent product group.

What’s so special about Movento?

It’s the quality of motion – from opening to closing – that makes this new development stand out from others. Thanks to synchronisation, the running action is even better, producing a smooth feather-light glide and top-quality motion. What’s more, Blum’s Movento also offers enhanced assembly ease. New 4-dimensional front adjustment is possible without any extra parts. In addition to tried and tested height and tilt adjustment, gaps can be precisely and simply aligned without tools with the new side and depth adjustment feature. This even applies to the smallest of gaps and inset fronts. Movento has been designed for dynamic carrying capacities of 40 and 60 kg, is extremely stable and has excellent sag values. In other words, the new runner system is ideal for the latest design trends such as wide pull outs and heavy fronts.

Ease of assembly and use

Movento is available with integrated soft-close Blumotion or with integrated Tip-On, the mechanical opening system for handle-less furniture. The runner system can also be equipped with the Servo-Drive electric opening system for even more user convenience.

Movento has been designed for heavy-duty use in kitchens, but it can bring enhanced user convenience to the entire home. Tried and tested Blum quality – a furniture lifetime – has naturally also been incorporated in this new product.
