South Shore Furniture Ltd.'s Balka, Yodi, and Dylan cribs were recalled due to the risk of entrapment. The cribs are identified by the model number and order number found on the label on the inside bottom at one end of the crib. 

Health Canada said the spacing between some crib slats is between 3 mm to 5.5 mm too wide creating a dangerous opening for the child, posing a risk of entrapment.

Manufactured by Vistawood Industries, Muar, Johor, Malaysia, and sold in Canada by South Shore Furniture reported that 1,158 units of the affected products were sold in Canada from July 2021 to March 2024. As of July 8, 2024, the Lévis, Quebec-based company has not received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
