Top Shelf Design Awards extends entry deadline

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The submission deadline for the 2026 Top Shelf Design Awards has been officially extended to Friday, April 10, 2026. Designers looking to showcase their most innovative organization projects now have more time to gather high-resolution photos of their latest master suite walk-in and perfectly organized mudroom or pantry.

Originally set to close in late March, participants now have nearly two additional weeks to finalize their entries. Sponsored by Rev-A-Shelf, the annual awards recognize excellence in both aesthetic vision and functional utility across the home organization industry.

The competition is open to any project completed within the last year. Designers must submit high-resolution photos and project details via the official entry form.

  • Entry Fee: $45 per submission
  • New Deadline: April 10, 2026
  • Judging: Entries are scored on a 50/50 split between Appearance/Design (creativity and visual impact) and Functionality (quality of construction and use of materials).

Submissions are being accepted across several specialized categories:

  • Closets: Wood and Laminate (Over/Under 18 linear ft) and Reach-in.
  • Garage: Over and under 600 square feet.
  • Home Office: Over and under 150 square feet.
  • Specialty: Pantries, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and craft rooms.
  • Wine Cellars: Dedicated wine storage.

Winners will be celebrated during the Top Shelf Design Awards Reception, sponsored by Rev-A-Shelf, on July 1, held during the 2026 Closets Conference & Expo at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach.

The Best of Show winner will receive a $500 grand prize, while category winners will receive a $50 prize and an official award plaque. Additionally, winning projects will be featured in Closets & Organized Storage magazine and across Woodworking Network’s digital channels.

Last year, Domenic Marcolongo of LV Closet Design won Best of Show as well as six additional awards. The industry recognition was an important moment for Marcolonga and his team. "I'm very grateful to be welcomed into a community of so many designers I've looked up to throughout my career," he said. "Walking away with seven trophies felt like my own Adele Grammy moment for our industry.
