DENVER - The Cabinet Makers Association (CMA) has announced it will hold its first-ever national conference to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
The CMA’s 20th-anniversary conference will be held March 1-2, 2018 in Denver, Colorado at the Crowne Plaza Denver Airport Convention Center.
The event will kick off with a networking reception the evening of February 28. CMA Member Paul Downs will be the opening keynote speaker on Thursday morning, and that afternoon will be spent touring local manufacturing facilities in the Denver area, including CMA Associate Member Premier EuroCase. Presentation topics throughout the conference include pricing strategies, transitioning to CNC, technology tools, workforce development, succession planning, sales and marketing training, and much more.
The conference registration fee includes admission to all sessions and plant tours as well as meals during the event. Travel and lodging are at the expense of the attendees who are encouraged to extend their day and spend the weekend in the Denver area. The group rate at the conference hotel is in effect for three days before and after the event.
About the Cabinet Makers Association
The Cabinet Makers Association was incorporated in 1998 by a group of custom cabinet makers who thought the small to mid-size shop needed to network and help each other grow profitably. Currently, CMA membership is made up primarily of 20 or fewer employee operations, with the vast majority of those being 1-5 person shops.
