NEW YORK - GT2P's beautiful Imaginary Geographies coffee table is designed to mimic the peaks and valleys of the Andes mountains. It's currently on display in New York's Friedman Benda gallery.

 

Cut on a CNC, the table is covered with ripples adapted from topographical maps of the Andes mountain range. The bumps gather around a circular mirror placed off-center on the top of the table.

 

The table, part of the Manufactured Landscapes collection, is Chile-based GT2P's (Great things to People) first solo showcase, created as part of a four-year collaboration with the Friedman Benda gallery.

 

The design firm has employed the same wavy pattern on a cabinet carved into its wooden doors. Check out the cabinet and other pieces below.
