Located along the New River in sunny Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this newly constructed home strikes the perfect balance of modern elegance and coastal ease. The kitchen, laundry room, home office, powder room, serving areas, vanities, and primary bathroom all feature cabinetry from Häcker Kitchens to curate a unified, refined aesthetic.

A sleek and streamlined look is achieved through wall-mounted cabinetry installed with Häcker Kitchens’ heavy-duty concealed hardware, creating a minimalist, suspended appearance throughout the home.

Playing with contrast
Because the kitchen is flooded with an abundance of natural light, the homeowner desired a design that incorporated deeper, darker hues to create a bold yet sophisticated contrast. To introduce warmth and an organic element to the space, Häcker Kitchens’ AV 2041 Natural Walnut cabinet fronts were selected and are carried seamlessly throughout the rest of the home. SystematArt handleless cabinetry paired with titanium interior cabinet boxes was utilized to further elevate the kitchen’s sleek, effortless aesthetic.

To further enhance its floating appearance, the cabinetry features under-cabinet LED lighting and a wraparound channel handle at the island. Additional highlights include a paneled wine cooler and a hidden walk-through pantry. As an extension of the kitchen’s design, the pantry features an inward-opening door and matching cabinetry throughout, along with thoughtfully placed lighting elements to reinforce a sense of harmony.

Harmony throughout the home
Häcker Kitchens’ Natural Walnut finish served as the foundation for the design throughout the rest of the home. To maintain a unified look, Häcker Kitchens’ cabinetry was incorporated in three complementary finishes: Natural Walnut, Elegant Walnut and Black.

The laundry, primary suite, powder room and first floor serving areas all feature the AV 2041 Natural Walnut cabinet fronts, mirroring the cabinetry used in the kitchen and emphasizing a sense of cohesion. Häcker Kitchens’ channel handles in Graphite introduce a subtle yet eye-catching accent to these spaces. In the laundry room, the AV 2135 PerfectSense in Crystal White is paired to provide an elegant contrast.

For the office and second-floor serving areas, Häcker Kitchens’ AV 2135 PerfectSense in Black was selected to create a striking yet refined aesthetic. This premium surface finish combines a high-end appearance with practical durability, resulting in spaces that look, feel and perform at a superior level. Engineered for everyday life, PerfectSense is resistant to fingerprints, light/UV exposure, heat, water and stains, maintaining a flawless appearance while remaining easy to clean, making it the ideal selection for these areas of the home.

The design of the Bedley Residence demonstrates the power of harmony and cohesion throughout a home. By utilizing Häcker Kitchens’ Walnut finishes as the cornerstone, the design effortlessly brings warmth and modernity to balance the home’s naturally bright ambiance. With the expertise of Euroline Cabinet Design and the artistry of Häcker Kitchens’ products, the homeowners now enjoy a unified, sophisticated space with beautifully functional cabinetry throughout.

“Häcker Kitchens German craftsmanship and Walnut finishes became the foundation of our home’s interior design, establishing a sense of continuity, warmth and quiet luxury," the homeowners said. "The precision, quality and intelligent functionality make our space both beautiful and a pleasure to live in, while the patience and guidance of Josie from Häcker Kitchens’ Fort Lauderdale location made the entire design process equally as warm and exceptional as the finished home.”
