Over the years, Pollaro Furniture has had many requests from clients to create an exterior line of deck furniture for both yacht and residential applications.  This year at the Monaco Yacht Show, Pollaro will unveil the Pollaro Teak + Titanium Collection.  A family of spectacularly designed exterior pieces, the collection is built exclusively of teak and pure titanium, designed to withstand the elements.  The first piece in the collection is a round dining table, which is available in custom sizes.

The pieces all make use of genuine Burmese teak and pure titanium, which are applied both structurally and decoratively.  The collection contains a dining table, dining chair, club chair, sofa, side table, cocktail table, and a bar.  More pieces can be added in response to individual client needs. "Titanium offers properties which are 42 percent lighter in weight than stainless steel, with high relative strength, and total corrosion resistance in salt water applications," said Frank Pollaro. "Titanium has the highest strength-to-density ratio of any metallic element."

The pieces are impregnated with eight coats of teak oil to withstand the harshest of exterior conditions.  Pollaro says the collection is "crew friendly," with easily replaceable non-marring feet, easy to maintain finishes, and superior weather performance.  The tables are supplied with custom made deck mounting hardware, and exterior covers.

"We hand select every piece of our Burmese teak, assuring that each board is structurally sound and free from any defects," said Pollaro. "We choose specifically for color and consistency. As always, our extreme attention to detail flows from the top of the piece all the way down to the floor, which is apparent in the bottom view of the edge of the table top."

Each piece of The Teak + Titanium Collection is customizable for size and comfort.

The collection will be on display on September 27-30 at stand QP60 in the Parvis Piscine tent at the Monaco Yacht Show.
