IRVINE, Calif.  – With millions of Americans working from home either temporarily or permenantly because of COVID-19, the demand for home office solutions has seen a sharp rise. In response, Tailored Living has launched a new line of Pre-Designed Home Office systems. The first four systems introduced fit a variety of floorplans and target first-time and continuing work-from-home employees looking to establish a more professional home office quickly, affordably and with style, the company said.

Ranging in size from 65 inches to 126 inches, the four pre-sized options combine ergonomic features to boost productivity along with customizable design touches. Customers can design their own home office by mixing and matching cabinet finish colors and layout options using an online visualizer on the Tailored Living website.

“More experts are suggesting that the work-from-home trend we’re seeing due to the coronavirus is actually a work-from-home revolution that will require a major shift in how we view the home office,” said Tom Hillebrandt, president of Tailored Living. “For various productivity, ergonomic, professionalism and employee morale reasons, the kitchen table or sofa simply can’t be viable long-term solutions.”

The four Tailored Living Pre-Designed Home Office options include:
65-inch Office Set with Peninsula Desk for a compact home office or student work space. Features include an L-shaped desk with enclosed cabinet, accessories drawer, file drawer and upper and lower storage shelves.
96-inch Office Set with Peninsula Desk for an expanded office configuration. Features include an L-shaped desk with center seating, filing drawer, box drawer, lower cabinets, floating shelves and a five-shelf vertical cabinet with open, adjustable-shelf bookshelves and enclosed storage.
96-inch Office Set with Standard Desk for a conventional, single-wall office footprint. Features include center seating, floating shelves and expanded, easy-access storage drawers and cabinets on both sides.
128-inch Office Set with Partner-style Peninsula Desk with expanded work and storage spaces that can accommodate two people. Features include a wider, 32-inch, L-shaped desktop, floating shelves, a five-shelf vertical cabinet with open, adjustable-shelf bookshelves and enclosed storage options.

Designs include desks with seamless, sloped-edge designs for ergonomic and wrist comfort, and rounded corners for child safety; built-in power stations with pop-up, 15-amp USB outlets; desktop grommets to keep cords organized and out of sight; and a choice of four finishes that combine warmth and beauty to pair with any interior style. All cabinetry is made in North America and thermally fused for resistance against impact, stains and scratches. An optional sit-to-stand desktop lets employees mix-up their working posture.

The four Tailored Living Pre-Designed Home Offices are now available from local Tailored Living franchisees. In addition to the pre-sized office sets, Tailored Living offers full design and installation of built-in home offices as part of its whole-home organization services as well as a virtual consultation platform for customers wanting to complete the design process 100 percent online.
