NEW YORK - Stylitics, a fashion and lifestyle website, has launched the ClosetSpace app, which it describes as a "digital closet," in partnership with storage related firms Organized Living and MakeSpace, among others. It's aimed at helping consumers personalize and organize their wardrobes and possessions, but also functions as a shopping site and a customer lead generator for its sponsors.

"ClosetSpace is much more than just another digital closet – we are the only destination available for consumers looking for a smarter way to manage their style in one place," said Rohan Deuskar, CEO and co-founder of Stylitics. "Since style differs from person to person, we've built a data-driven experience that is personalized to your tastes and designed to fit seamlessly into your busy life. Every user gets a completely tailored experience."
ClosetSpace sends each user a daily email that is based on the local weather in their area, including suggested outfits from designers or previously saved by the user or by similar users.
It incorporates a built-in calendar to track and manage daily outfit choices, which can be synced directly to a personal Google calendar. Stylistics positions its website as an online magazine.
It also becomes analytical, providing real-time stats based on the items saved to the platform, including cost-per-wear and most or least worn items - the idea being not to lose clothes in the back of the closet.
ClosetSpace offers discounts through its partnerships MakeSpace and Organized Living, among other sponsors. MakeSpace is a start-up that provides "simple and effortless storage."
"Our mission is to allow you to 'upload' your physical possessions 'to the cloud,'" the company says in its description. "We are the future of stuff."
Aimed at urban dwellers, is creates permnant storage for people whose apartments change frquently.
"Are you frustrated moving your college diploma three times in the past five years? Are your son's baby clothes still piled up in your closet even though he just bought his first car? Have you ever gotten lost in a self storage facility that felt more like a prison than a closet?" as MakeSpace invites new employees to help it "disrupt a $24 billion storage industry."
