Wood Industry 40 Under 40

Nominations are now closed for 2017 and balloting is taking place in the second annual Wood Industry 40 Under 40 Awards.

Winners will be honored the night before the AWFS Fair, on Tuesday,  July 18 at the Woodworking Network Leadership Reception, 5:30 p.m. in the Las Vegas Convention Center Room N109

Winners receive free tickets to the reception, as do attendees at the Wood Industry Leadership Forum, and Closets and Finishing Symposia taking place during the day. The exciting awards event is open to all; individual tickets are $45 at the AWFS Fair registration site.

The program seeks the individuals in the next generation of people who are destined to make an impact on the wood products manufacturing industry in North America. Winners will be announced in early June, and awards presented at the Leadership Conference.

40 Under 40 winners are disruptors, innovators, rebels, those who have broken the rules or worked out of the box to make our industry - or the world - a better place. This could be someone who’s come up with a killer idea, a project, product, and process, perhaps even incubated a business. Join Woodworking Network and 2017 sponsor Stiles Machinery in honoring the next generation of industry leaders, those individuals under 40 who are reshaping our industry, and who excel in:

•    Productivity
•    Profitability
•    Social Good Locally, Globally

•    Innovation
•    Peer Inspiration
•    Product Development
•    Organizational Leadership
Wood Industry 40 Under 40 winners will be feted at the 2017 AWFS Fair, and receive free admission to the July the Closets Symposium, Finishing Symposium, or Leadership Forum on July 18.
