Laboratory furniture and millwork firm Kewaunee Scientific won an $18.5 million contract to produce laboratory furniture and fume hoods at the College of Science complex for Kuwait University's Sabah Al-Salem University City. It is the second project at the university for Kewaunee.

A federal judge issued a preliminary injunction halting the U.S. Department of Labor's new Overtime Rule from taking effect nationwide on December 1. Judge Amos Mazzant said the court needed more time to determine if the Labor Department exceeded its authority in doubling the threshold for overtime to those making $913 per week, or $47,476 annually.
