Grain Surfboards, a storied woodworking shop specializing in guiding customers to build their own cedar surfboards alongside an experienced craftsmen, has opened its second shop on Long Island.

Barnyard Salvage, a Virginia-based wood reclaim operation that reclaims old barn siding into one-of-a-kind rustic wood pieces and paneling, now sells 8,000 briquettes weekly from its new sawdust press. It also reduces employee dust exposure.

Vecoplan has introduced a containerized pellet plant, called CPP. It can produce one or two tons of wood pellets per hour. The turnkey pellet production plant is housed in standard shipping containers. The CPP is designed, built and shipped from Vecoplan Midwest’s New Albany, Indiana, location.
