There’s a special design for Brett Favre. And those serious about the game also can have a cue designed specially by J. Pechauer Custom Cues, located in Green Bay, WI.

Fore more than 30 years, J Pechauer Custom Cues has manufactured two-piece solid wood cues, which are sold throughout the world. The lumber, typically bird’s-eye and curly maple, is first cut on a WoodEye saw, then kiln dried before being crosscut and ripped to size. From there, they are doweled, tapered and sanded to a smooth finish. According to owner Jerry Pechauer, all parts are glued as well as threaded. In addition, the intricately designed inlays are precision fit by hand, with no visible glue lines.

Each cue is custom designed and finished. J. Pechauer will apply a wrap or stain, with sanding performed between each coat to ensure a smooth finish. A customized machine applies a sealer coat to the cues for added wear protection.

The company also manufactures a limited number of pool tables, which are sold exclusively through the company’s store.
