IGP Debuts Low-bake Temperature Wood Powder Coating

Wil, Switzerland –IGP North America a division of IGP Pulvertechnik AG is pleased to announce the introduction of IGP-RAPID. This is a (R)evolution in the low-bake temperature powder coating of wooden materials such as MDF, HDF and natural woods such as oak and ash. The lower temperature limits (less than 250̊ F) exceed all previous limits that many powder coaters of wooden materials in North America have run up against in the past. We are officially launching this product for North America at the IWF 2014 Show in Atlanta (8/20-8/23/2014), see us at booth 1569 in the A Building.

With our latest development from the IGP-RAPID family, you benefit in several ways – by having an ecologically friendly coating, amazingly low curing temperatures and by having a powder coating which enhances your product design and while providing long-term functional protection. The seamless “all-around coating” enables coverage of edges and surface areas in one process. Thus there is almost no limit to your product design with this (R)evolutionary product.
