BlueLinx Adds Former Home Depot Executive as CFO

 BlueLinx Appoints Mitchell B. Lewis Chief Executive OfficerATLANTA - BlueLinx Holdings Inc. (NYSE:BXC), a distributor of lumber and panel to construction, home building and furniture companies, named Mitchell Lewis President and CEO. He will also be named to the board.

Lewis, 51, was CEO of Euramax Holdings, Inc., a producer of metal and vinyl products sold to the residential repair and remodel, commercial construction and recreational vehicle markets.

Prior to Euramax, Lewis was president of Amerimax Building Products, Inc. and has served as corporate counsel with Alumax Inc. and practiced law with Alston & Bird LLP, specializing in mergers and acquisitions.

Headquartered in Atlanta, BlueLinx Corporation reported third quarter revenues of $558.0 million, a 12% increase over the year prior. s a leading distributor of building products in North America. Employing  1,700, BlueLinx has 11,500 customers nationwide, including dealers, industrial manufacturers, manufactured housing producers and home improvement retailers. It listed Champion and Clayton Homes, and Ethan Allen and Haworth among its clients during a Wells Fargo investor conference. BlueLinx operates its distribution business from sales centers in Atlanta and Denver, and its network of 50 distribution centers.
