ShopBot Says Open House a Success

DURHAM, NC — Woodworkers, business owners and craftsmen from six different states attended the inaugural ShopBot Open House on June 14 to see the company’s line of CNC systems, according to the company.

“We were very excited to see people as far away as Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania take time out of their busy lives and brave the high travel costs to give us a visit,” said Ted Hall, president and founder of ShopBot Tools, a designer and manufacturer of CNC cutting machines.  “It is always fun to talk with customers and see how our CNC systems can help meet their creative and manufacturing needs.”

The Open House included a tour of the ShopBot plant, software demonstration and the viewing of an array of ShopBot CNCs at work in various cutting capacities, including the 2008 Challengers Award finalist ShopBot “Buddy” and Power Stick, a mobile CNC system.
