Furniture outlet employee stabbed by robbers

DALEVILLE, IN -- Two armed robbers reportedly beat and stabbed an employee at Daleville Furniture Outlet on December 28 before fleeing with money taken from the store's cash register.

The employee was taken to the hospital for treatment of a wound to his abodmen that reportedly was non-life threatening.

The store's owner told the Muncie Star Press that there was little cash on hand as most customers pay with credit cards.
